Thank you 2023!

In 2023, Nature Governance Agency was born, and has since evolved with Alexandra Pimor as the Director of Nature Governance, Lucy Ward and Pooja Sharma as Strategy and Operations, and Tony Zelle as our Movement Builder. We have been developing frameworks and building momentum with our Wildflowers – including Grace Ha, Solene Crawley, Yasmin Soliman, Alice Viera, Sarah Hawkins, and Anna Côté, for the 2023 promotion. Their enthusiastic, consistent, and supportive contribution is a gift to this meaningful work we are collectively performing.

In this growth year, we started exploring bringing Nature on the Board of various organizations who reached out to us, including businesses, corporations, and charities.

We worked with HubCulture directly for their revised Nature governance implementation, which included envisioning and co-developing Nature at the forefront. They announced in June 2023 that their entire board has now become a collective proxy for the Atlantic Ocean.

Stay tuned for official news of our collaborators’ progress throughout 2024.

We could not have evolved as swiftly without our allies Grant Wilson and Missy Lahren, respectively executive director and board chairperson at the Earth Law Center, and Heather Robertson, founder of Bold Arrival, who has encouraged our business confidence and helped us hone in on our public strategy.

We also want to thank our partners Ephi Banaynal Dela Cruz and Sylvia Vaquer of ContextNature for working with us in productizing our framework tools, and for being the first to engage in our relational contracting workshop.

Relational contracting works – our working relationship has grown in trust, confidence, and clear communication for both parties.

We are now the beneficiary of our very first grant, awarded by ALV Foundation in December 2023, completing a tremendous year of hard work and collaboration!

A massive expression of gratitude to ALV Laura Haverkamp and Laura Viegener for their trust, kindness, and visionary support.

We end the year with immense gratitude and excitement for what is to come in 2024.

Be on the lookout for our 2024 updates, which include:

  • Commencing our pilot Dandelion Fellowship program and welcoming the first cohort of Dandelions to join us on a co-development adventure, during which we guide them on their Nature proxy journey for organizations

  • Introduction of NGA’s N2B Sodality program, where we enlist 10 organizations on a collective journey to envision Nature practice within their organization. We create tangible tools for organizations to utilize in their operations while guiding interpersonal transformation to result in efficiently conducted operations for the planet, people, and purpose.

  • A Nature Governance thought leadership paper & toolkit to share globally

  • And much more!
